Enron sends California garbage

Reuters News Service

WASHINGTON -- California prosecutors say that when they pried open 940 boxes of documents subpoenaed

"What we found were discarded Kleenexes, old pizza boxes, garbage," California Attorney General Bill Lockyer

Hi Chris,

Re: URLs,,,,, is that better? CC

Much better indeed! Thanks. I usually try to put the URL at the top so my readers can know immediately what the source of the post is. That way they can know if they're reading a polemical screed, for instance from a left journal like The Nation, or a right wing ideologues site like the American Enterprise Institute. It's helpful to know whose propaganda one is reading. <g>

In terms of green power, it is important to note, and it was not mentioned in the LA Times article, that the utilities and the IPPs ruthlessly boxed the renewable energy producers out of the California energy "swindle" last year. They abetted the Power Exchange, Cal ISO and DWP to cut off payment to the alternative energy producers. This was the death knell for a number of them. Very tough competition these renewable energy companies are facing. Tough and ruthless.
