Why aren't we using E 85 as a fuel option... "The oil companies aren't really supporting this and it's not hard to understand. This product has the potential to cut into their sales by 85%" , thus removing the US from dependency on Arab nations for fuel. The product is "100 octane, often less expensive than petroleum based octane is 85% ethanol (corn alcohol) and 15% gasoline, and "requires no serious modifications to your car". Why don't we have it. Why is Cheney wasting his time trying to deal with terrorist nations who think he's an idiot anyway. Why isn't Cheney looking into getting this renewable resource fuel available nationally? Four billion bushels of corn that are otherwise being wasted can be used to produce fuel. One bushel of corn produces 2.5 gallons of ethanol.

Ford Motors has a big commitment to E85 because it's "clean and green". E85 "reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 20% and may help reduce emission of greenhouse gases." AND it will reduce our dependence on Arab nations by 100%.
