I do not know about about you but from my side it was pretty clear. I do not believe that amd claimed market share gains q/q and as you pointed out yourself it was y/y.
It is very encouraging to me that there is a good progress in windows based systems though.
It is very clear to all amd investors that amd lost market share in q4 but I doubt very much that the drop is as drastic as what one might get from the article.
Also you should realize that part of that market share gain did not come from traditional pc business. While xbox is great for intel even at low margins it is really a different market and hence does not take anything away from amd.
