That GSM1X air-interface-breaking-joke is really fun, although it is important to get some kind of networks and
services for the little 1X air-niche market, something to hook up the base station baseband chips with to get some
services pushed through.

Sad that the voice coders aren't compatible, but probably stll an improvment from AMPS-TDMA-QCDMA
