IMO it's not as important what religions preached originally, it's important what they preach now. Which ones preach intolerance, want to kill non members, now? Those are the ones that the world has to worry about, not the ones that preached it a 1000 years ago. Can you think of any offhand?

Hello Neeraj, You make an excellent point. The author shows a chauvanism, by saying ALL religions when she means only three, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity; the faiths of Abraham. As for intolerance in Judaism, you will find in Torah G-d instructs Moses to slaughter the Canaanites and take their land for he (?) promises that land to those who keep his commandments. Also, in the Babylonian Talmud, there is much text that is not altogether tolerant of Christians or non-Jews more specifically. cactus48.com
