Let's see, no arthritis, no heart attacks, no cancer, no headaches, ....

Doesn't sound THAT bad.

Precisely my position. Fascination to know what happens next, where and how the world goes on after I die (if, of course, it does...). And with the advantage that we should be able to see and know so much more, assuming we're allowed the storage.

And I'm sure that the electronic analogue of pleasure would be found, before too long.

I wonder, if this occurs, what will be the position on whether souls exist?

The worst thing about having to die for me is not finding out how the story ends. If you were maintained in a computer, you'd know. You might not care, but you'd know.

I guess you would know how it ends for you (you end up in a computer), but does that tell you anything about how it ends up for someone else, or what happens when they erase the computer memory?
