Insane. Any contact with these people should be prohibited, unless a waiver is signed that says: "PLEASE BE ADVISED -- THE US GOVERNMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER THE F** HAPPENS TO YOU GETTING INVOLVED WITH THESE TOTAL NUMBNUT GOOFBAGS. YOU ARE HEREBY ON YOUR OWN. WE WON'T SEND SOLDIERS TO GET YOU. WE WON'T PUT OUR PEOPLE IN HARM'S WAY TO SUPPORT YOUR ILL-CONCEIVED AND EQUALLY-CRAZY IDEA OF CONTACT." Furthermore the US should pull the hell out, declare victory, and ban any and all foreign military or cash contributions, except through a responsible UN agency or an agency like the Peace Corps.
