There was a cut already from 0.35 to 0.15. I have therefore not ruled out the possibility of a further cut. As for a short term play, the stock is on the way down so it may be risky trying to time a short term or long term turn around. As for ther debentures, they are safe unless one thinks that the company is going to go under, or will not be able to pay its debt obligations. As such they are much safer than the shares. At current levels, they pay about 7%.
