I did not say that the devil "are" the children. I said that unsocialized children have plenty of bad impulses, although, of course, they can be sweet too. And it is generally true that their behavior improves with socialization. Sometimes adults have a bad influence, but it is not confined to "brainwashing". The main bad influence they have is neglect and abuse, not teaching their children values. Nor is it the case that God and State are the main reasons for bad or violent behavior. There are many more gang members and other violent criminals than militia members. By and large, those who are taught Faith and Patriotism are, well, Boy Scouts........
