I got the same results for "Elan and pharma" (45 patents,... but this seems like a low number to me). patft.uspto.gov Narrowing the focus, here's a set of 12 patents with the just Elan as assignee with the word "crystal" also appearing in the text. I filtered out "audio" unless Elan (PLC) is into boom boxes. patft.uspto.gov ...and here are patents with both Elan as assignee with naproxen also in the text. patft.uspto.gov I hope this will be useful.
