I wonder if the DoJ could ask Judge Posner to write the brief on why the states should not be allowed to pursue antitrust cases.

Short lived rally, at least it looks that way now.

1. Recession seems to be ending.
2. Lots of signs that MSFT will get out of the various suits with minimal remedies.
3. MSFT business as strong as ever.

Still the stock gets sold at every turn.

Many people suspect that this is simply the "end of March" weakness that is very common. April is typically a much better month and leads into a fairly common "summer rally".

Because the market is heavily influenced by traders including institutional traders, these seasonal trends become quite pronounced. Better times are ahead.

I'm just noodling but this gives MS a bite at the Apple (certainly no pun intended) that I had not understood. No wonder the stock is going up today.

say what? this judge is showing every indication that she is finding out how much MSFT abused their power....
