I directly heard him make the crack about "conservation is a sign of personal virtue, but will not do much about solving our energy problems" as only he can do with that condescending smirk on his face. It's a good thing that the fine people in California ignored that crack and dramatically reduced their energy use, thus preventing the brownouts that were widely predicted. In fact several new power plants have been delayed because conservation and wise use were so successful. I'll retract nothing, and furthermore will not allow you to decide what I post, dittohead. Del
