I have to tell you that there's a ring of truth to this article...

BTW, there was an interview in Le Figaro just the other day with Georges Corm, a former financial minister in Libya. I know nothing about him, and the interview was the usual blame Israel and the US, but there was one revealing question and answer about why the Arab countries have been fairly "silent" (??) about the Palestinians, he replies « I believe above all that the populations are remaining prudent because, with the examples of Iraq and Afghanistan, they have seen what kind of punishment they expose themselves to. The United States inspires a certain terror. »

This really speaks volumes, and I'm not referring to the "terror" part.
