The hardware has little to do with the networking. I'm cross platform and I can say networking in Windows is a pain in the butt. Mac 0S9 is easier in many ways. OSX gets one connected to a router like magic.

Robert,

"The Hardware"

Seems like nearly every important peripheral is now USB/Firewire and wireless these days. In the 80's and early 90's closed architecture was a key drawback to the Mac. Whoever was responsible for closing the architecture of Apple machines back then was a complete idiot. Like the idiots who refused to use Ethernet, trade marketshare for increased margins, etc.

Cheers,
Norm
