For those of you who use "Berkley" as a synonym for demolib pinhead, I just saw John McWhorter on Fox speaking against reparations. Very articulate and very non-demolib and definitely not a pinhead. Perhaps Berkley didn't like being your poster child. linguistics.berkeley.edu

Faced with a social or paleoconservative, I vote Democrat or don't vote. I already said that. I think the lefties have already done most of the damage they're going to. I'd suggest your imagination needs a tune up. This is a GOP state so they can't reach too far. This is a Dem state ands they get away with murder. We've got the People's Republic of Berzerkely, the People's Republic of Santa Cruz, and the People's Republic of Santa Monica. Our governor, in the name of saving the poor from greedy energy companies, put the state gov't into the energy business, got royally screwed by the professional traders, and in a year ran through a large surplus that had taken more than a decade to accumulate.
