Reading the Times gives you one view of what has been happening, a view that is subject to certain distortions. Reading Debka gives you another view, with its own set of distortions. If we read enough sets of distorted views, we develop views of are own, inevitably distorted by our own pre-existing beliefs and perspectives.

All of this is normal enough, but it is very important that we remember that none of these views, including our own, should be taken as gospel truth.

Since the NY Times has clearly not been covering what has been happening, I don't feel sure about their covering troop movements either.

Nadine, if I understand Steven's point it clearly does not depend on just the NYTimes doing the reporting. However, they will certainly report them, since they would not wish to be scooped. And, as for the NYTimes coverage not being sufficient, it looks to me as if you are saying they are not covering things the way you wish they would cover them. That's ok but quite different from the assertion that they are not covering.
