Cuba was poor before Castro under a capitalistic state just like all of South America is now. China is an example of how Communism can work, Enron is an example of how Capitalism can destroy. You are coming around Ann, the answer is not the exact form of Government it is about who runs it, their motives, checks and balances, and making sure excesses don't occur. Without the 19th amendment to the Constitution, you still would not be a real person.
