The simple answer is we can't crack down on shipping, the volume is just too great.
Either they have a real good lid on "loose" nukes, or the world has been real lucky so far.

You are absolutely right, if they can smuggle a ton of coke into the country in a semi, they can sure smuggle anything. So, there is no answer.

I just re-read a book called Bin Laden, the man who declared war on America, by Yossef Bodansky. First written in 1999...It will truly shock anyone that reads it, especially after 11 Sept.
