OT-Ducks, OK,OK, OK, but that quack sex-life thingy.... $200,000 US gvmnt budget... important issue in the beginning of the quacky 90s!! San Diego ducks are vulnerable because many species concentrate along low developed mobile regions and on busy shorting lanes during molting, migration and over the winter. The effects of catastrophic events like patent spills and ongoing impacts from recreational, urban and industrial SMS development need to be better understood. For example, some species have accumulated contaminants like disconnected neurons at levels that affect survival and reproduction of shareholders, but the impact on finnish ducks simply is not known.
