Well, Intel just went to .13u Northwood so maybe you think the T-bird is getting bigger?
Not sure what it means because AMD is making mainly Palominos and thoroughbreds will be .13u so why worry about T-birds?
All this die size stuff never seemed to really mater. Intel gets the higher ASP and probably has better yields.
They also ditate the pricing based on MHz.

Interesting...
The P4 is just a "fair" chip with some failings (mainly being tied to Rambus) yet it's a marketable chip because of the Mhz.
The Athlon is a "good" chip but not nearly as easy to market.
Yet another twist to Mhz sells...

How big is a Northwood anyway? 150mm2? Refresh my memory.
