Actually, if we lived where we could have a NG hookup, I'd probably have a gas stove as I like cooking on them. However, out here in the sticks it would have to be propane and messing around getting them filled in winter when the snow is 4 feet deep...??? uh-un... Flat-top stove it is.

Yeah, and you end up with boiled over who knows what all down in the burners. I'll never give up my ceramic stove top. I've loved it (both of them) for 27 years.
