The big issue is can you learn from the mistakes and successes of others.

------------------- Now quite rightly I can throw the same question back at you and your side. Can you and your side learn from your sides own mistakes and the successes of other? ----------------
------------------- What does the evidence have to say about that? Well lets look at the case of the selling of PWI at that loss. That was done by both KASTELCO and LORNE. Now look to the responses from each of these. Well Kastelco has said that had he not paniced and stayed the course (held) with the recovery after the fall he would have been just fine. In addition had he bought at the lows (below $6) then things would have turned out much better than that. Check his post yourself. Now lets look at what Lorne had said that he is much better off having taken that loss and buying something else. Now in a previous post I went through Lornes numbers showing that that just wasn't the case. And still to this date Lorne has not responded to back up his claim with the real past trading numbers. Two people doing the very same thing one acknowledging to at least some degree the failing the other refusing to acknowledge the failing completely. And when asked to give evidence of what he says refuses to do so NOW DOES THAT SOUND LIKE LEARNING FROM ONES MISTAKES. . ----------- Now would you care to take up the challenge of showing with simple math that Lorne is most definitely better off by selling PWI at that loss and buying PVE or is my side better off by holding and buying more and much more PWI below $6 and then enjoying its rise from those lows? ----------------

Unfortunately you don't seem to have an open mind about what others do or think.

------------------ Having an open mind means that you look at the evidence from both sides. Check that evidence with the relevant data. In this case historical past trust unit prices. Then do the math concerning both what I said to do and what Lorne said to do or did. Now from the above with Kastelco and Lorne which one displays more of an open mind about the event. Its most definitely Kastelco and he echos to an extent what it is I had been saying about the thing. SO JUST WHO HAS THE MORE OPEN MIND -----------------------

And that's really too bad. By your style of writing and use of the language, I would have to say that you are quite bright if not downright smart. Your inability to accept the OPINION of others,

----------------- As I have said from the very beginning I accept fact and data ONLY. Opinion is quite simply not fact or data ------------------

however leads me to believe that you really do have a different agenda than most of us here. We are here to make money. You are here to prove you have nuts. I have a feeling you are not sure.

-------------- You are quite correct I do have a different agenda. And I have said it numerous times before. Check that out. It is simply to make sure that joe average trust investor gets both side of the issues. (Note Tommy's response, its not up to him to do that) I supply the counters. I supply the facts and data. I supply the sources. (All which they are free to independently verify to their hearts content) I ask the questions joe average should be asking. And I demand the answers to those questions. So that joe average trust unit holder has both sides, all the evidence fact and data and sources. And from that then and only then can they be sure they are making the correct decision as what to do for themselves. Just one of the many public posts here of thanks from that joe average was the one which stated "thanks for keeping things in perspective". Thats what I have done and will continue to do. And no amount of name calling and insults and denying or twisting what is clearly posted from your side is going to stop that. So continue with it if you must. But its not helping anyone not one bit. --------------------
