So, if Enron invested in wind power, it has to be bad? They also invested in nuclear and coal plants and distribution lines. By your reasoning, they must be bad too.

If given only 2 choices, which would you choose. A coal plant or a windmill farm near your house? People are always going to be "not in my back yard. We just went through that here with a new grocery superstore. We are living in a "what's in it for ME" society. It's one of the side effects of the move to the right. I want my SUV, jet skis, A.C. in my 3,000 s.f. house, but I don't want any power plants near me. ME ME ME.
