U.S. shares sagged out of the gate Wednesday as cautious investors waited for companies to open their books on the first quarter. The holiday-shortened week was generating low volume, frustrating traders.

There IS a continuum of traders, Dave. You and Rev may be clustered at one end, but there are those of us rather more towards the other to balance it all out. ;-)
