I think we both missed each other's points a bit. I did not say: "contraception is not the solution to the wickedness of abortion."

I was just questioning how abortion is "part of human nature", as you seemed to be saying. That is not what you are saying, so my question is anwered.

">>> Or, do you believe that contraception is 'murder'?"

No, I don't. Not sure the morning after pill is contraception, but definately don't believe contraception is murder. Don't even think abortion is murder, but get ticked a little when it is described in happy talk, like it is whether you are for "choice" or not. The act of abortion is killing an unborn child, so screw the PC talk and tell it like it is. This frank nature of discussing it may sway more people to make the right decisions, which is not to kill the fetus imo. Might even teach some people to run their lives a little more responsibly. Who knows.

The anti-abortion forces are not about saving fetuses or even promoting births. They are about manipulating other people to give their group a sense of power. They prey on the most troubled among us.

i was the one who made the comment. and i will repeat it. a magical contraceptive pill that would reduce the level of abortions will not solve the moral crisis in our country. the moral crisis afflicting our culture can only be solved in the hearts of our citizens, not by the expediency of technology.

contraception is destructive to our culture itself. favoring it over abortion will not save our culture.
