Putting out bait for those who do, I see.

I wasn't "putting out bait" for Steven. A while back he was asking what was in the news here about plans for Iraq. At the time, nothing much except a general sense that we would attack. So, when I saw that wonderful article by Lehman, I knew that Steven would like to see it. Had I thought more quickly, I could have posted the article to him, but I didn't. So I used his name in a later post on the subject thinking that he would probably see it when he caught up on the thread. That is not "baiting." It is being thoughtful to a fellow thread denizen. I realize that that's a somewhat alien concept...

Now as for Jorj, I was becoming frustrated with your continued insistence that libertarians are lefties, so when you handed me the perfect set up--all SI libertarians are lefties--I pointed out to you that your buddy, Jorj, was a libertarian, assuming that you did not consider your friend a demolib pinhead. It occurred to me that my ribbing you about that might just help you reconsider being so thick headed about libertarians. Twelve hours later, Jorj noticed the reference and ribbed you, as well.

I don't see what's so incomprehensible or unusual about either of those transaction.

No good deed goes unpunished... <g>
