Kenneth, If you want to blame politicians, the Clinton Administration looked away too. Of course, I don't really think the Clinton Administration could have any more than the Bush Administration did (except sooner). BTW, How bad was the drought in the Northwest a couple years ago. I've read that it was pretty bad (affecting BPA imports into California), but I don't recall asking anyone living in Washington.
