The obvious answer is why bother?

They just bought a digital camera or video camera.

The are going to learn new apps like photoshop.

I am still shocked to see how many small shops and stores are still using Dos based applications on their computers.

Computer and especially software are expensive. It's Moneeeey.

Funny, I was looking at an article about how flat the mobil phone business is. I don't use a mobil phone because I've got too much tied up in my DSL/reg phone. So no mobil.

If the company's employees have already taken the time to learn all of workings of using Win-Intel based machine why would a company spend the money for conversion

That is a very valid point, but it only applies to limited situations. Fact is, in most any company what employees have actually mastered is turning off spellchecking in MS Word and browsing with MS IE. Both readily available for OSX.

EDIT: Not saying it's a reason to switch, just saying it's not a reason to not switch.
