Matt, I am a Texas native too. When Reagan was talking about the commies showing up on the Rio Grande if we didn't stop them further south, my reaction was, "Damn, what a turkey shoot when they get there."

The fact that the attack came on the start of Passover is significant. The retaliation will be brutal.
This ties in with those 2 books we talked about yesterday.
There just simply will never be a true peace between the 2, so by deduction that leaves the other alternative.

And this is all on topic, as some of the rats are based in, or do business in Israel, and this has an affect on our markets. Look at crude oil, closing in on $26, no other reason than a war premium. That is why we have done well in the oil dogs, and the reason I am collecting some JMAR. There is good reason the military, through DARPA is funding them.

As I said, I went short the indexes over an hour ago, and now they are tanking, and this latest terrorist attack is part of the reason. That made it clear I had to go short.

U.S. Warns Americans in Italy

The Associated Press
Wednesday, March 27, 2002; 1:03 PM

ROME –– American citizens could be targeted by extremist groups in four Italian cities on Easter Sunday, the U.S. government warned Wednesday.

The State Department said a "possible threat exists to U.S. citizens in the cities of Venice, Florence, Milan and Verona on Easter Sunday from extremist groups."

The announcement did not identify the groups or elaborate on the nature of the threats, but it warned that "these groups do not distinguish between official and civilian targets."

It said Americans should "increase their security awareness and avoid large crowds."

A U.S. official said the warning was based on information developed in cooperation with Italian authorities. Italian anti-terrorism officials refused to comment.

Earlier this month, the United States warned that extremists were planning terrorist actions against American interests. That warning was issued after the March 17 attack on worshippers at a Christian church near the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. Two Americans and three other people died in the attack.
