I think many are just a wee bit too uptight. I need stuff like Brooke's posts just to give me some balance.

Brooke's one of the most creative writers I've ever had the pleasure to read.

Me thinks you received appropriate responses already so you slide...this time...:-)

I can assure you her trades are doing ok. How do I know...we real time our stuff somewhere other than SI.

Brooke is one funny person. Period... anyone taking it any other way is having a day filled with themselves.

Well, you don't have to worry about sarcastic, angry posts any longer, because I was finally defeated by the rallying market today. I lost absolutely everything in a series of ill-considered shorts. I should have used stops, but I was certain that that the market was going to crash. (You can go back and read my posts over the past 5 years. Every single one basically says the same thing: "The market is going to crash, but it's up today, and I'm angry.")

I've posted my short picks of the day below. When they turned against me, I tried to short them even more. One thing led to another, and after more than 350 day trades, I was ruined.

EBSI 25.6 +7.7 +43.0
SKYE 10.2 +2.2 +27.5
VIDE 8.0 +1.3 +19.4
ROYL 10.7 +1.7 +18.9
INTI 9.4 +1.2 +14.6
DNDN 6.5 +0.8 +14.0
SIRI 5.0 +0.6 +13.6
APPX 15.0 +1.8 +13.6
TRDR 6.7 +0.8 +13.6
ADPT 12.1 +1.4 +13.1

There's an odd sense of completion about the whole sordid affair. I suppose I knew all along that it would end in disaster.
