You're talking about what happens to the company, not the stock. A good company does not necessarily make a good stock, if the market already recognizes that fact. A bad company does not necessarily make a bad stock, if the market overdiscounts that fact. In the extreme (yes, I know we aren't at that extreme, I'm just illustrating a point), if LU had a market cap of $80 billion, NT's market cap or sales or anything wouldn't change the fact that LU would be drastically overvalued.
