I realise that the Avino mine has been closed for the last few months -- but it could start operations very quickly if silver goes above $5.50 and stays there.

Also, I'm interested in ASM because they have a 50% stake in the Bralorne gold mine. That one could start up quickly as well and be profitable with gold at $325. Rumour has it that they may try to sell some production in advance to raise the cash to start it up again, do further exploration, etc.

Finally, I like the way ASM has been managed. Reminds me a bit of FGX the way they spend very little and seldom update the website! But there's some very experienced mining people in charge, including the former president of Penoles as Chair. In all these years with cash-flow problems they've not diluted the stock much. Still only 5.4 million shares out and a much smaller float... i.e. a market cap of only U.S. $1.5 million -- and sitting on all that valuable stuff!!

For me, it's one for the future and I'm just building my position for the bull market... :^)

Best regards,
Howy
