Yousef, what is gained by pretending that something does not exist, let alone that it may have some legitimacy, or by mixing two issues together that are somewhat related?

By ignoring the other's point of view, very little is gained. By acting like a parent and banishing Arafat to his room, Sharon gains nada.....he looks like a tyrant.

To ignore that the formation of Israel was not done under the best of circumstances may have been to Israel's advantage in the past but I don't think it isn't now.

I don't think Israel has to bend over but I think it needs to find a way that's more constructive. I don't see what is gained by keeping tensions and discord between Israel and Palestine at such high levels. There is more than one way to skin a cat........I don't think Israel has found one of them yet.
