I-mode and MMS. Is it still true that the japanes are no quacks, only 1500 lawyers on the whole island, or have they managed to substantially increase the number of patent litigation and lawyers in the last 4-5 years?? Happy to notice the late but anyway debate on "top brass options" in USA, maybe there will be a similar one on..hmm..what did I call it.. the "NCBOPC" syndrome. Ilmarinen One US university did some great things on managerial "gut feeling" before the bubble, the mechanism of "I have no idea, totally lost, don't even want to know, but I have been endowed with this blessed gut feeling which makes me a real manager" A serial reaction on Ollila quoting Aurelius, smart "great communicator" move, without quoting neither Shannon nor Kalman. (one "Nokia-mantra" is/was that a top-brass should know all the regular stuff, and additionally some more, and especially not waste time and energy on options)
