The point is not who can call a top or a bottom or whatever.....The point is how we act on our beliefs.
I approach every day as a new day, with it's own set of circumstances.....I don't see the point of speculating any further out on market direction than I need to...Why bias myself into thinking the market should go one way, only to watch it go another?
How many get caught up in the predictions of others and don't take any action at all?....time is money, and while inaction is better than losing, it certainly isn't doing anything for the bottom line either....
As far as guru's go, if any one at all had the market figured out, the very last thing they would need to do is peddle the information to any one else.....they'ed be able to print all the money they ever needed....
JMHO......Good luck

Well looks like that post called the top to me. :-)

As to wiggling out the next day..with your 20/20 Hindsight system there is no need to wiggle. We always know where the market went.

As to predictions... you have preached that to me so many years it is stamped on my forehead...and you are right. As one of the respondents to your post that I am replying to said.."It makes one biased as to mkt direction".

BTW, the only guru (other than LG and isopatch) I know of threw in the towel a few months ago....for a little while anyway. I guess he came back out of the closet during the Febr Mar bear rally. Got his clock cleaned again I suspect.

BTW, did you notice asopatch put me on ignore twice. Sheesh, maybe he thinks I will change my mind.

Now lets do some predicting here. I predict the market will go up tomorrow and you predict it will go down. We will take an equal dollar position and split the winnings.
