I predict you have just seen the tip of the ice berg. Of course, in contrast, if you lend somebody $100 and they fail to repay you, you probably have just a few years to bring suit or your claim would be barred by a statute of limitations. Plaintiff-friendly (left-wing) judges who want to make their mark on the world will find ways to allow these claims to go forward. This is one price we pay for the "liberal," out of control society we live in.
