I was just remembering last December 30th, when the Naz was "sure" to go up the next day, cuz it always had on December 31st. Ooops. That said, I'd be surprised to see anything THAT negative tomorrow. Frankly, I don't know why it should be any different than the last handful of days. Longs will say "who wants to hold long with a long weekend looming" and the shorts will say "who wants to hold short with favorable April coming up." Or, neither will say the expected thing <g>

As an aside, Shack, in the absence of volume, the S+P and Dow haven't been sinking the past two days.

We've also got jobless claims and the Feb GDP before the market. . . and the Chicago PMI at 10 EST. Any of them could be market movers in the short term, ala the confidence number, but for all I know the Juniper warning will be the big story. I really can't say much with certainty other than that Player wasn't much of a band and. . . nice VIX close!
