Well their stock is in freefall, they are losing more and more $ every qtr, and I'm sure most of the people who use/need Tradestation have already signed up as clients. Now they are realizing that to increase their client base they need to compete on price. Watley did the same thing a few months back with their "flat fee" trading program. Didn't get them very far. They're facing delisting by Nasdaq. TS would have been better sticking with the software. But I guess the allure of the capital markets was too tempting.
