Do you have a point here Ron? Is there something specific that I should worry about?

the article did a nice job of summing up some of the various destructive effects of free trade. it didn't quite make the connection between free trade and mass immigration however.

free trade upsets the natural balance between production and labor. with free trade producers are free to move their production abroad, but labor (people) are restricted from following them across borders. this upsets the balance and the free market responds by trying to restore the balance through lobbies for mass immigration and open borders. of course the massive inflow of illegals into our country is another attempt by the free market to address the imbalance between labor and production.

that is why open borders and mass immigration goes hand in hand with free trade. hence my nickname free "traitors", to describe the powerful and selfish corporations which care more about finding a cheap source of labor than they care about the sovereignty of our country.

people who advocate unfettered free trade unwittingly are advocating mass immigration. that's why i always find it interesting when people who are ardent free traitors complain about the immigration problem.
