I too have never heard of them (Chip Pac).

But this is a market AMAT would like to have a high market share.

Chip Pac is (was?) a LBO with a much improved balance sheet. I made a thread for them when they first went public because I liked their idea. But the stock remains fairly undiscovered. The fact that the company has managed to survive, let alone improve, under very tough conditions is a tribute to the management. A look at the chart should tell you that it is a volatile stock. On the other hand, if you are on the right side of that volatility, many smiles will grace your face. Rare is a company that has run up 450% since the September bottom.

PS Everyone should do their own DD. As much as I like what I've seen from the management, this is no AMAT; it is much riskier.
