I get the feeling the Spanish contingent in congress is concerned they will no longer have swarms of future voters to support their future campaigns. They would rather take their chances with terrorists than enforce immigration rules & regs with their own constituency.

the responsibility falls on the american people, not just our elected officials. we have the power to remove the traitors from office if they defy our will. we simply haven't mustered the courage to do that. when society musters the will to demand our legislators act on the immigration problem, our legislators will respond in kind. if you are upset with congress and the president over pushing for amnesty for illegals, simply don't vote for them.
