The Israelis were attacked on day one.....they have been defending themselves ever since. Why have intelligent heads of state in that region been willing to make peace with them? Jordan & Egypt(Sadat gave his life for the cause) learned to live with the Israelis. The Palestinians are beyond hope....sending young people as suicide bombers is barbaric. They refuse to compromise & state they will accept nothing short of Israel acknowledging the land they live on does not belong to them.....that's a hopeless position that will lead nowhere.
