What about Turkey? We're already in there. That will work if we run the air war from there, and overturn Saddam without major ground forces, as in Afghanistan. Look at a map that shows the ground, and you will see it is mountains, with very bad roads. The only way I can see to get Armor in is though Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria, or Jordan. The question is, how weak is Saddam? could he be toppled with a small push? Because of our involvement with the Kurds, the CIA may have the same kind of human intelligent sources there that we had in Afghanistan. I have not seen any info on this.
