Tickets.com Signs Merchant Processing Agreement With National Processing Company

LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National Processing Company (NPC®) a leading provider of merchant credit card processing and a wholly owned subsidiary of National Processing, Inc. (NYSE: NAP) announced a multi-year merchant processing agreement with Tickets.com, a leading provider of ticketing software and services for live events. Under the terms of the agreement, NPC will provide front-end authorization and settlement services for all Tickets.com Visa® and MasterCard® transactions.

As a leading global live events ticketing solutions provider, Tickets.com services major clients across the sports and entertainment categories including 20 Major League Baseball Clubs, indoor and outdoor venues, and other live events. NPC will provide the merchant processing solution for credit card payments accepted by Tickets.com. Tickets.com was one of the first implementers of the Visa Payer Authentication System, improving safety and security of consumer transactions on the web.
