An urn! Now why didn't I think of that? I've got some lovely Calphalon sauciers and an asparagus steamer with, properly displayed on my kids' mantel after my death, may even fool them into thinking I was tall and slender.

You are so cruel. Do you know that actually occurred to me when I hefted some of those pots? They ARE heavy, and that's before food. No onehanded lifting with those mommas. I';ll have to put a bicycle basket on my walker to get them from the stove to the sink. Put little wheels on them maybe.

That is a lovely idea about the cremation urn, although these pots are such a dull dark grey. I have a china tea set that looks just like the last urn on this page- (you have to go to urns). I think it is very feminine and a teapot is so domestic, which of course is just me me me

At the service they can sing "She's a little teapot"
And instead of flinging my ashes into the wind and making a mess, they can neatly tip me over and pour me out.
