Gene, Thanks for all the information you've shared, I've been lurkin n learnin. I don't know if you're doing this kind of thing, but we had a strange trading close in a small biotech stock I'm in, BTRN. The biotech sector has had a tough 2002, BTRN even more so. siliconinvestor.com Today the sector was hammered, especially the "weaker" stocks like BTRN. Then with 15 minutes until close, it zoomed on big volume: siliconinvestor.com including these 3 block trades after hours: 16.09 $ 4.10 250000 16.07 $ 4.25 77000 16.03 $ 4.31 10000 [Av. daily volume is 139,000] If you can shed any light on this activity, I'd be glad to have it. Gene, question for you. I just placed an order with waterhouse that was one cent above the bid at the time. I watched level II, and after 5 minutes my order was still not reflected. I called them up and explained, the guy says let me take a look and all of a sudden there is my order at the bid. I have never seen this sort of delay with an order in my Datek or etrade accounts, but it's not the first time with my waterhouse account. What do you suppose is going on?
