Or you could try Netscape or Opera and see if it works any better.

Thanks for the help. I've tried all that. IE handles it the best because it has a handy button with which I can quickly change font sizes. It's the way pages are designed.

You can try selecting "Ignore font styles specified on web pages

I've tried that. It causes its own problems.

The other day, reading the Post, I had a box with an ad running down the right side of the news story column. They clearly designed the ad to be in a fixed spot on the page, When the column adjusted for my font size, as it should, the right side of the column ended up under the ad.

I don't think there's anything I can do on my end. I just bitch and moan and send emails asking them to clean things up on their end. When you have stuff on the page that's in a fixed location and other stuff on the page that moves around, you're gonna have collisions.
