Business PC language? Never used it in my life. I'm not sure your evaluation is correct. While it probably is true that selling is the correct action, I'm not entirely sure it did. Offering business for votes (or business) is a common tactic. As I said, I'm not fond of it, but sometimes it's a necessary tactic. In this case, it likely assured a desirable outcome. In that case, you may pay a price, but it may not be as steep as the one you would be paying otherwise.
