Watch what they do, not what you say. The Democrats, defeated on every issue for the last 14 months, were desperately scrambling to preserve the Clinton recession and re-name it the "Bush recession". They have now lost that battle too. I wouldn't want to go into the coming season, against a president riding and 80% approval rating, with what little they have. Looking forward to the 2002 results.

You can only pass out so many packs of cigarettes...
