The 10 ns EDRAM products have random access timing specifications that are more than twice as fast as other industry recognized high performance DRAM products. The SRAM cache integrated into the EDRAM allows hidden precharge of the DRAM during burst reads. This provides EDRAM with 3-4 times improvement in page miss access time compared with other DRAMs. The EDRAM achieves the same burst speed as SDRAM and is 100% faster than standard extended data output (EDO) DRAM. The fast page miss speed combines with high burst speed to deliver the highest sustained bandwidth available.

I still have two sticks of their -20 running on a 486 board (Ocean DCA2) and back then it was was faster than the early Pentiums.

I'm going to run some Seti benchmarks on it to see how it stands up.
